My name is Jacob Shedlin, and I’m the owner of Tee Time Pressure Washing. I started the company in 2024 while I was a college student attending Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.

Like many college students, I wanted to earn money but I also wanted to build something of my own. Golf has always been one of my favorite ways to spend my free time, so part of my original motivation was pretty simple: I needed a way to pay for tee times, food, and college life. That may have been where it started, but it quickly grew into something much bigger.

The Idea Behind Tee Time

The idea came to me while I was playing golf and noticing how much dirt, algae, and grime had accumulated on the cart paths around different courses. I started thinking about how satisfying it would be to restore those surfaces and how many homes and businesses probably needed the same attention. That was the moment Tee Time Pressure Washing began to take shape: a pressure-washing company inspired by golf and built around professional service, careful work, and genuine respect for every customer’s property. I shared the idea with my friends and family, and their encouragement gave me the push to get started.

It started with a small machine, a willingness to work, and family members and friends who trusted me to practice on their properties. Every driveway, sidewalk, patio, and exterior taught me something new. As my knowledge grew, so did the quality of my equipment, cleaning solutions, and results. What started as a way to earn some extra money became a real company one that I’m incredibly proud to put my name behind.

Tee Time Pressure Washing was founded locally, but my vision reaches beyond cleaning one driveway or serving one neighborhood. My goal is to grow Tee Time into one of Florida’s most trusted and recognizable exterior cleaning companies. I want our name to represent knowledgeable service, honest communication, detailed workmanship, and an exceptional customer experience. As the company grows, I also hope to create opportunities for local high school and college students. I want to teach young people the value of showing up, working hard, learning a skill, communicating with customers, and taking pride in a job well done. The long-term vision is to develop trained crews that represent Tee Time’s standards while giving young people meaningful work experience and the confidence to pursue their own goals.
